Use of Service

Our services are designed to assist you in planning your wedding by connecting you with various vendors. You agree to use these services responsibly and in compliance with all applicable laws.

User Accounts

When creating an account, you agree to provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. Do not share your password with anyone. You can invite your fiance to the platform using the Invite button in your dashboard so that you can share your wedding planning together.

Vendor Accounts and Subscriptions

Vendors can create a free account to access basic features. We do not offer trial periods. To access the paid features of our vendor area, vendors must subscribe to a monthly or yearly plan. Subscriptions are handled by our payment processor, Stripe, and are automatically renewed unless canceled. Vendors can change, upgrade, downgrade, or cancel their subscription at any time through their account settings.

If a subscription is canceled mid-way through the current billing cycle, vendors will continue to have access to the paid features until the end of the paid period. No refunds will be issued for the remainder of the subscription period, but no new fee will be taken at the start of the billing period. Vendors can reinstate a cancelled subscription at any time during the current paid period. Upgrades to a higher subscription tier are handled on a pro-rata basis, with a pro rata fee being taken on the day of upgrade, and then the new subscription amount being taken at the start of the next billing cycle.

Payment Processing and Security

All payments are processed securely through Stripe, the leading online payments platform. We do not store any payment details ourselves. Stripe uses robust processes to prevent fraud and ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements. By using our payment services, you agree to comply with Stripe's terms and conditions.

Vendor Payments and Stripe Connect

To accept payments through our site, vendors must use Stripe Connect, which allows us to process payments on behalf of registered and authorised vendors. We do not hold funds; Stripe acts as an escrow service, handling payments from buyers to vendors and automatically deducting our platform fees.

Refund Policy

Any booking fees made to a Vendor are non-refundable, unless otherwise stated on the Vendor's profile. We recommend that all Couple's take out a suitable Wedding Insurance Policy in order to protect yourself from unexpected cancellations. These can be found in your Couple's Dashboard. It's a very small fee but it can save you a fortune if your wedding needs to be cancelled.

All Vendor Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by law. If you believe you are entitled to a refund, please contact us at ben@myweddingquote.com.

Vendor Listings

Vendors listed on our platform are independent businesses. While we strive for accuracy in their representations, we cannot guarantee the quality of their services.

Data Protection

We are committed to protecting your personal data in compliance with applicable data protection laws. For more information, please see our Privacy Policy.

Limitation of Liability

MyWeddingQuote shall not be liable for any damages arising out of your use of our platform or the services provided by vendors listed on our site.

Amendments to Terms

We reserve the right to amend these terms at any time. Your continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of these changes.
