Your Wedding reception is the final celebration of your special day and a chance for you and your guests to let their hair down.
Who am I to tell you what gets played. Every song you choose will have been chosen for a reason, whether it be the song you and your friends danced to at your Hen/Stag Parties, the first dance from your mum and dads wedding or just the music you and your friends listened to whilst growing up. These songs are vital to me understanding you and your guests so why wouldnt I play them.
Equally if you would rather leave the music choices to me, I am more than comfortable with choosing a playlist for you.
Reading the crowd. This is an expression used by many DJs and a skill that can only be learnt with experience. After performing at 1000s of events during my time as a DJ it has given me the confidence to know when to play certain songs, assess when to switch genres and the skill to adapt the tempo to change direction and pace of any evening. Like the old saying goes you cant buy experience
