About Christ Church, Bath At Christ Church, we are always delighted to welcome people who would like to celebrate their marriage in church in the presence of God, with either a marriage service or a wedding blessing. You're welcome to marry in church whatever your beliefs, whether or not you are baptised and whether or not you regularly go to church. Normally, we have some sort of connection with the couples who marry at Christ Church, as outlined on the Church of England's wedding website (https://www.yourchurchwedding.org/article/finding-a-church/). The church community can work with you to support you as you plan for the big day and would be delighted to help with planning your ceremony, decorating the building and choosing your music. Our excellent choir and organist may also be available to add to the sense of occasion. We are located in the Georgian heart of Bath, within easy reach of reception venues and hotels, including the elegant Assembly Rooms which are less than five minutes walk away. Read more
