This country-house hotel's gorgeous gardens give way to rolling hills and colourful fields of crops, making for a delightful, natural photography backdrop. Downham Hall offers three marvellous sites for your ceremony and reception to suit various celebrations. At the rear of the house, the orangery is a great choice for smaller gatherings. You can say 'I do' bathed in boundless natural light from the glass windows, with beautiful views of the south wing gardens. Up to 40 loved ones can join you here for a ceremony and 25 for a seated meal. Elsewhere, the de Beauvoir Suite holds larger parties of 87 guests for a ceremony. We also offer a beautiful area outside for cermeonies in our garden grounds sof up to 110. Our marquee is also licensed for larger ceremonies.
Downham Hall's marquee is ideally suited for large weddings, with a fully-stocked bar, heating, and ample space for dining and dancing. Whichever site you choose, you will have access to a private dressing room to prepare, with a secret route to the ceremony room to keep your wedding look private until you walk down the aisle. Five beautifully appointed bedrooms are on-site for you and your loved ones, including a stunning suite for the special couple, perfect for extending your celebrations beyond the wedding day.
