Facilities and Capacity While the children enjoy lawn games in the open space, you and your guests can relax on the terrace with some champagne overlooking Gidleigh Park's grounds and out onto Meldon Moor. As for the ceremony, the Pavilion thatched cottage is a beautiful backdrop for sharing your vows. The wood-paneled drawing room with large bay windows overlooking the gardens is another perfect location for an indoor celebration. After photographs, your wedding party can settle into the Nattadon room, which comfortably seats 50 guests between two interconnecting dining rooms. The Executive Chef, Michael Wignall, and his team will craft the wedding breakfast. Michael is very much a part of the team when planning your special day and will be happy to discuss all aspects of the event with you. After breakfast, you can relax in the drawing room for the speeches while enjoying coffee and petit fours. Your party can move to the Hall to enjoy music, dancing, and entertainment to continue the festivities. Should anybody wish to rest from the dancing, the bar or Teign room will be set up as another sitting room for guests. Alternatively, your guests can make the most of the extensive grounds and walk through the lantern-lit woodland paths along the river.
