Welcome to Gilbeys Eton. Situated on the High Street of Eton, close to the River Thames and between the historic buildings of Eton College and Windsor Castle, Gilbeys is open from 12 noon for lunch; our friendly and efficient team look forward to welcoming you in either the stunning conservatory restaurant, bar or intimate courtyard garden. Weddings We are liscensed for ceremonies for up to 50 guests. The Conservatory area is perfect for the wedding breakfast following your ceremony. Sll of the weddings we hold are bespoke so please give us a ring so we can talk through your special day. Guest Bedrooms We have 3 beautiful Townhouse Guest Bedrooms and one Studio Suite, all awarded 5 stars and a Gold Award from Visit England. The rooms all have private bathrooms and super comfy extra king-size beds. Experience Originally an old butchers shop, we created one of the first wine bars outside London in 1975; The Eton Wine Bar; after 25 years of success, we changed the name in 2000 to Gilbeys, recognising that our food had outgrown the original wine bar concept. Events We have two lovely Private Dining Rooms which is available for parties of between 10 and 34 people; Meetings Our two private dining rooms can also be used for meetings with both half day and full day rates.
