Glyngynwydd Wedding Barn and Cottages is a rustic, award-winning wedding venue in the heart of Wales, just outside Llanidloes, Powys. Set in an unspoilt valley with 12 acres of land, this enchanting oasis includes woodland and a pristine pond. With no shortage of gorgeous backdrops and licensed ceremony sites, you can feel free to host that dreamy, country wedding you've been waiting for. Facilities and Capacity We are available to host civil ceremonies, blessings, civil partnerships, humanist ceremonies, and renewal of vows. No matter how you choose to celebrate your union, this unique venue promises the setting to suit even the most quirky of tastes. Up to 100 can witness your fairytale union enveloped by trees and scented wood or rejoice in the day cosied up by a fire pit. For the festivities, the grounds open up to easily hold between 120 to 180 guests in a choice of quaint country settings. As part of your hire, you will have exclusive access to the grounds for the weekend, including the choice of two ceremony areas, the wedding barn, and communal stables. For those gearing up for a destination wedding in dramatic Mid-Wales, the property also offers two nights of accommodation for 19 people in its five self-catering cottages plus our new honeymoon suite. You are also welcome to hire our 6 sleeping pods for a village feel . The team can offer a wide range of solutions, covering camping, caravans, lodges, and more. We have 2 packages our All Year Round Wedding & our Micro-Wedding. For both it's the weekend (3pm Friday to 3pm Sunday). We require a £500 deposit at the time of your booking and the balance to be paid 3 months before the big day. The property is available for additional nights either side for £500 per night. If you’re stuck for ideas for catering and entertainment, we are more than happy to assist with this and make your day extra special! While the team offers a hands-off approach that encourages flexibility, they are more than happy to assist with sourcing catering, bar hire, and entertainment should you feel stuck. Wedding packages also come with tables and chairs for 120, biodegradable confetti and sparklers, and access to quality vendors.
