I’m Hannah, a London-based wedding photographer, designer, and owner of Hannah Bain Photography who loves travel, design, music and visual story-telling. I live in South London with my husband and our son, Isaac, as well as our dog, Edith. I’ve had an interest in photography for as long as I can remember. Much of my twenties was spent travelling around the world, documenting all the people and places I experienced along the way. But it wasn’t until 2019 when a friend asked me to photograph their wedding, that I began to turn to wedding photography professionally. I was immediately hooked. Weddings are special events. Each one has a particular energy to it, its own touch of magic - and as your wedding photographer, this is what I’ll be tuning into. My photography style is relaxed, natural. My aim is to capture not just how your wedding looks, but how it feels. I balance my photography work alongside my career as a graphic designer. I believe the two professions complement one another: my training as a designer has given me a good eye for framing, composition, and style. It also means that I only take on a limited number of weddings each year. This gives me the space to approach each wedding with a fresh pair of eyes, and ensures I can deliver the best quality all-round service. My Style My style is best described as natural, creative, storytelling wedding photography. I love capturing real moments and real emotions as they unfold before me - even the ones you didn’t know were happening! I may step in to provide a little guidance or help, but I do my best to ensure you feel comfortable and relaxed, enabling you to enjoy your big day as planned. Each wedding is entirely unique and I like to approach it that way. My style doesn’t involve a list or a template. I don’t have a special formula. I approach each wedding instinctively, with a personal touch. For me, this is the best way to create a collection of authentic and stunning images that tell a story of you as a couple. One of my favourite aspects of wedding photography is meeting new people and building genuine friendships along the way. I enjoy getting to know my couples beforehand: discovering their story; understanding their hopes and expectations; knowing what’s important to them on their big day.
