Hartlebury Castle is a charming wedding venue, rich in history and located in the village of Hartlebury, Worcestershire, surrounded by beautiful countryside. We can accomodate weddings (ceremonies & receptions) for upto 100 daytime guests, with additional evening guests welcome. The Medieval Great Hall, Georgian Saloon and Bishop’s Study are all licenced for Civil Ceremonies creating an elegant backdrop for your wedding. Hartlebury Castle’s Great Hall has been used for banquets and celebrations since the Middle Ages, including Queen Elizabeth I. It can seat up to 100 guests for your ceremony or wedding breakfast, and its curved staircase is perfect for making a grand entrance. The Saloon, overlooking the picturesque Carriage Circle, is exquisite with stunning Georgian style decoration and can seat up to 80 guests for a ceremony, or 60 for a wedding breakfast. Both rooms and the grand outdoor Carriage Circle are yours for the day, with time to set up the afternoon before your wedding. With our Dressing Room available for you to get ready in, Hartlebury Castle becomes an atmospheric venue for your whole wedding day. Hartlebury Castle has works exclusively with our chosen wedding co-ordinator and caterer, Country House Occasions, to provide you with high quality, delicious food & drink and a first class service. Working together for many years, we work closely with each other to ensure that your wedding runs smoothly and that you and your guests have a wonderful, happy and memorable day. We offer a flexible approach to weddings, recognising that your day should reflect your personalities. We are always happy to discuss your ideas to make your day special. You are welcome to use your own suppliers (excludes catering/bar) and arrange your own entertainment, though we are always happy to provide suggestions if requested. The beautiful Castle Chapel, also hosts wedding blessings for up to 60 guests, and is a lovely setting for wedding photographs.
