About Hatfield House
Surround yourself in over 400 years of history. Set within Hatfield Park, Hatfield House Hospitality has three wedding spaces for you to choose from. The setting of each venue is dramatically different but provide equally eye-catching qualities.
The beautiful Tudor Old Palace, built in 1485, was the childhood home of Elizabeth I. It's known for its medieval brickwork and original wood beams, immersing guests in history. The attached Knot Garden is perfect for picturesque wedding photos. The Raised Lawn offers stunning views of Hatfield House and is great for outdoor blessings, receptions, and games.
The Old Palace can accommodate large weddings with banqueting tables and has space for a DJ and dancefloor. The Riding School combines historic features with modern design and can be rented with the Old Palace. Both venues are licensed for civil ceremonies and offer free parking. Hatfield House is a popular filming location for movies like Lara Croft and Harry Potter, as well as TV shows like The Crown and Bridgerton.
