Description
Holme Pierrepont Hall is a Grade I listed country wedding venue set within a secluded 30 acre estate, just a short drive from Nottingham, Nottinghamshire. Family-owned since the 16th century, when first built by Sir William Pierrepont, this Tudor manor is steeped in heritage. Boasting a stunning Grade II listed courtyard garden and some of the oldest brickwork in the county, it's an exciting place to forge your own historical moment.
Facilities and Capacity
Holme Pierrepont Hall is licensed to hold weddings and civil ceremonies of up to 120 guests within the house. The extensive formal grounds also provide ample space for a marquee or tipi where up to 500 people can celebrate your union. The historic hall enjoys absolute tranquillity in glorious seclusion, enhanced by seasonal blooms, landscaped lawns, and yew topiary. Inside, guests will be transfixed by the unique atmosphere of the Medieval Lodgings set in the oldest part of the house. Featuring centuries-old oak timber beams, leaded windows, and original nooks and crannies, these rooms are a quaint setting for an intimate ceremony or reception of 40. Atop the Grand Charles II staircase, you will find the airy Long Gallery. Adorned with antique furniture and family portraits, this light-filled suite can easily accommodate up to 120. Elsewhere, the downstairs Ball Room has a sprung dance floor and French doors which open out onto the East Garden. Those seeking a quiet haven will adore the elegant adjoining Drawing Room, which offers the height of Victorian style.
