Firstly, a naked wedding cake which can be decorated with fresh, edible or crystallised flowers, fresh fruit, or cake accessories such as bunting or cake toppers. Secondly, a buttercream finish which gives a more rustic look than a sugar paste cake and can again be dressed with flowers, accessories etc. For something in-between, you can opt for a semi-naked finish which has just a thin layer of buttercream.
