Karen is a Manchester-based classical harpist, who has won multiple prizes and accolades for her performances. She plays for all types of elegant functions and is available for events anywhere in Manchester. Experience Karen was interested in music at a very young age. After gaining high grades in violin and piano in youth orchestra, at thirteen she joined the London Royal College of Music, where she won the Gordan Turner Prize for Harp and several prizes at other London music festivals. Karen was awarded the exhibition scholarship for the Royal Northern College of music, where she won the David Dunn (Yorke Trust) Prize. She trained in solo, chamber, and orchestral performance, for four years, developing practical and applied skills and graduated as Bachelor of Music (BMus) with honours. Services offered Karen boasts a diverse and varied repertoire of Classical, Show tunes, Folk and popular music. She offers affordable packages and plays for all important moments and functions including the ceremony, drinks or wedding breakfast or a combination of two out of three.
