Built in 1795, McArthur Manor is a beautiful, historic Georgian Manor House and wedding venue located in Perthshire, Scotland. On your big day, you and your guests will have exclusive access to the property, creating a private setting where special memories can be shared. Only your invited guests will be on site during your booking. This is your very own Mansion House in Scotland for your special day. We regularly build a package of services and entertainment to look after destination weddings and longer stays. If you want a wedding factory type hotel or venue, this is not for you - we are in the buisniness of creating bespoke amazing intimate celebrations, where you can tailor every aspect. The property is licensed for civil ceremonies and can sleep up to 33 guests + children. We can host up to 150 for a reception party in the evening. The maximum for a formal sit down meal is 100 guests. You will not need to hire outside equipment, banquet furniture, linen, decorations or crockery/glassware, as we have all this in stock. Complimentary wedding planner included with all bookings to assist you to plan your wedding meticulously and be there on the day to ensure everything runs on schedule.Prices For exclusive use of our venue and all accommodation, tailored setup and wedding planning services, the cost is outlined below for a Friday or Saturday wedding. There is a 10% discount for mid week events, with checkout by Thursday. We have everything you need for your big day and reception, except for flowers. After your reservation is confirmed, you can schedule a tasting with us to ensure your satisfaction with selections. Facilities and Capacity McArthur Manor welcomes couples to say "I do" within the stunning main house or in the open air. Ceremony settings include the bandstand, the ceremony hall, the function area, or the courtyard space. The house features numerous communal areas, such as two dining rooms, a grand lounge, a bar, several outdoor setting areas, and a large entrance hall, where guests can mingle. Services Offered When celebrating at McArthur Manor, couples and their guests will have access to varied amenities within the exclusivity of a large house. The venue's commercial kitchen can be used by culinary teams to prepare delicious meals or for self-catering during extended stays. The in-house team offers completely bespoke menus for special celebrations and will work with you to arrange a plan for your day. Most comonly couples book with us for two, three or four days, in order to create a relaxed atmosphere and not have the stress of compressing everything into 12 hours or so. When opting to book with us for an extended stay, over a whole weekened perhaps, having the time to chat and relax with your favourite people the day before the wedding as well as having a day to cool down afterwards, makes the moment so much more special. On days before an after we can arrange excursions or special Scottish entertainment to keep everyone entertained.
