Milebrook House is a stunning hotel wedding venue located in Knighton, Powys. Built in 1760, this wisteria-clad Georgian country house provides an elegant and upbeat environment for your wedding celebrations. The owners are a husband and wife, who live on-site. Along with their dedicated staff, this dynamic duo are able to be entirely attentive to your needs and desires. They offer the warmth and charm of a country house, while still giving your that special home-away-from-home ambience. Facilities and Capacity The house maintains many original period features including gleaming parquet floors, high ceilings and cosy log fires, next to classic antique and modern furniture. Freshly renovated in January 2019, the house exudes style and comfort, combining the historic elements with a tastefully modern heritage palette of colour. Set against an eclectic art collection in the main communal rooms, this venue has it all. Your celebrations can be held within our stunning period rooms or outside in our beautifully landscaped gardens. The gardens and large separate lawn area with stunning views of Powys and Shropshire serve as the perfect backdrop for those important wedding moments. For smaller weddings, the venue can accommodate up to 20-38 guests in the restaurant, and for larger weddings, they have the capacity to seat up to 100 guests in the Garden Marquee option.
