About Monkton Barn Surrounded by 10-acres of beautiful Buckinghamshire countryside and far-reaching views across the Chilterns, Monkton Barn is a private converted barn, with a large attached marquee and courtyard. We host wedding receptions and are licensed for civil ceremonies, with a choice of settings including our meadow and woodland dell. With a capacity of 65 to approximately 450 guests, Monkton Barn offers great flexibility and choice to couples seeking a unique and creative venue for their special day. Set along a quiet country lane, the original barn building surrounds a charming courtyard filled with pretty planting and olive trees. Explore further and you will discover our meadow with panoramic views across the fields and woodland. We have hosted hundreds of wonderful weddings and are delighted to offer couples a truly bespoke wedding experience, with our help and expertise on-hand throughout. We welcome all marriage celebrations and are licensed for Civil Ceremonies or alternatively, marry in one of the many charming churches nearby and then celebrate in style at Monkton Barn after! We offer Weekday Weddings available Monday to Thursdays which a great option for couples hoping to keep within a particular budget. We offer a number of settings for your ceremony, be it open-air on our meadow, sheltered under our capri marquees, or amongst the birds and trees in our magical woodland dell. Our fresh and exciting menus combine hearty traditional fayre with wonderful fine dining, plus a choice of service styles. Enjoy our private Bridal Preparation Room just a few steps from the Barn! We have partnered with a newly opened hotel (just 5 minutes drive away) to offer our clients and patrons preferential rates and block booking options. Monkton Barn is situated in the stunning Chiltern Hills, just a few minutes drive from the riverside town of Marlow - famous for its fine-dining.
