Choosing a photographer, it's a minefield out there! Let's make it simpler Here are some bare essentials about me, and why I could be the photographer for you. Style is personal I know your photographer is a personal choice, as the quality of your images really do matter as time goes by, its the one of the only tangible elements left to take you back to that magical place. Firstly, I believe its important to make a connection with your photographer, after all we're sharing a very intimate occassion with a total stranger - its seems really quite bizarre when you think of it like that. It's not! If you're happy to have your photographer maneouvre skillfully (sometimes awkwardly) around your guests in a ninja like fashion (I've become mostly expert at this) you will get incredible shots. However, it's also very' important your photographer has excellent people skills, and when it comes to those couple shots, you feel relaxed and able to share a certain level of intimacy. "She made us feel so comfortable and natural, and still got THE shots we wanted!!" The service your photographer brings should also have a positive affect on your guests who are also perfect strangers, this is why I make it my personal duty to know a little about you, and your story. "She was patient, honest and so kind throughout the whole experience and all our guest said the same thing." I don't over book wedding after wedding so my work doesn't suffer and I can give you as much of my time as you need. I'm not just a wedding photographer, and you're not just another job to me. I didn't pick up a camera a few years ago just to make money shooting weddings, I've been shooting since the dark room days, have a 1st class degree, and even specialised in fine art portraiture. I don't list the stages and limit shooting time mechanically Although the general blueprint to any wedding day is mostly very similar, prep, ceremony, breakfast, dance etc.... Each one is as unique and I treat them, and I do just that! I shoot all around and in-between the moments so you get an original and exciting wedding album - not a series pre-rehearsed shots I take everytime. I also have a bespoke photography studio which welcomes every booking to a complimentary shoot personally styled to your liking (creative, casual, or engagement shoot, totally your preference). I embrace less traditional weddings, unconventional couples, creative trends, second marriages looking for something different, and importantly, I listen to clients as individuals. I have an artistic, modern, relaxed and playful approach to capturing authentic moments without the cliche, and with plenty of timeless, romantic and original style. At the same time, I'm experienced in portrait artist, who can direct those who feel uncomfrotable and awkward infront of the lens (its pretty common) and can be casual and fun for those wonderfully unconventionally romantic couples.
