Description

Pennard House is the epitome of dreamy elegance. A warm country home with ceremony spaces, a party barn and gorgeous gardens, all exclusive to you. It is the perfect setting for your romantic wedding in a relaxed but unforgettable setting.
Facilities and Capacity
You can hold any ceremony you like at Pennard House in a variety of different spaces, be it a church wedding, civil ceremony or humanist celebration:
The picturesque village church is located just across the garden. It’s a moments’ walk when you are ready to wed, and perfectly located to stroll back to the gardens with your guests for your first glass of champagne as a married couple!
For civil ceremonies, there is either a beautiful room within the house, or the Garden Pavilion on the lawn. Both spaces are licensed for civil ceremonies and you can choose which space you want to use on the day – so the weather doesn’t have to be a factor.
With sweeping south facing lawns the gardens at Pennard House offer the most beautiful surroundings for you and your guests to celebrate. The open, sunny lawn in front of the house is ideal for you and your guests to enjoy drinks, canapés and a game of croquet accompanied by acoustic music in a quintessentially English setting.
Moving on from the drinks reception, the wonderfully converted 18th century Coach House is the ideal location for your wedding breakfast and evening celebrations. There is a beautiful, intimate dining area, with original features, atmospheric lighting, sound and heating, perfect for speeches, toasts and the wedding breakfast. Then reveal a personalised bar, dance floor and relaxed seating areas where you can dance the night away.
Start your day being pampered in the stunning Orchard Bridal suite, which is yours for the night of your wedding. Further accommodation is available in the house for family and friends, and your guests would like something a little different, during the summer months they have beautiful handmade 16ft tipis in the grounds, complete with double beds, soft linen and warm quilts. Breakfast is served in the dining room, where all guests staying can enjoy a Full English breakfast with ingredients sourced from the local farm shop.

Each couple has a dedicated wedding coordinator who will work with you to ensure your wedding runs smoothly whether you envision a quaint elopement or large banquet!

For your drinks, Pennard House can take the hassle away and arrange everything for you, or you are welcome to bring your own during the daytime. In the evening, they run a fully stocked cash bar.
