Description

I HATE WEDDINGS... well, that got your attention! In fact, I love working weddings and have travelled all over the UK to capture many special days, and it would be an honour to be a part of yours! ABOUT I have been a freelance photographer since the day I passed my driving test... no, literally! I had my first commission the day after my test (thank god I passed!) and have been taking photos ever since. *** Three things about my style: I love capturing those moments in between when you think nobody is watching, I blend in with your guests, happy to chat with one and all, and I have no time limit on your wedding photos! ON THE DAY A friendly, fun photographer with plenty to give! I will merge into your day like one of your guests, being a fly on the wall when it comes to photos and helping out wherever I can (I even put together cheese boards at one wedding!). There are no time limits - anything goes! TYPICAL PROCESS & COSTS Once you have enquired, I will respond with the full wedding package and a breakdown of any optional add-ons you may like, such as wedding albums, engagement shoots, and prints. The wedding package includes kit, time, transportation, editing time, and all digital copies of your wedding pictures! If you live outside 30 miles of London or Carlisle, travel costs may be added. CONTACT You can enquire via Hitched, Bridebook, or my website at www.pollyawphotography.co.uk! ________________________________________________________________________________________ What is your most memorable wedding? Picture this: I arrive at the church, and everything's going smoothly until surprise, surprise, I manage to get my car stuck in what can only be described as Shrek's hidden swamp. I'm there, dressed to the nines, desperately trying to free my car from the clutches of bog. Eventually, I managed to escape, and in the pure delight that I had gotten unstuck, I drove the wrong way back to the reception. It turns out taking the scenic route wasn't part of the plan, but hey, who needs a sat nav when you've got wedding bells ringing in your ears and a car that refuses to cooperate? It was a journey filled with wrong turns and unexpected detours, but hey, isn't that what marriage is all about? What is the most original photo you've been asked to take at a wedding? Once, a couple asked if I would go up onto the roof balcony of their reception venue and take a photo of all the guests from above. It was a summer day, but a touch on the breezy side, so I'm not sure if they heard me, but they certainly loved the photo afterwards! What do you recommend for a rainy-day wedding? At all weddings, you must plan for rain. Before the day or on your venue tours, it is worth having a few ideas in mind. The key is that there is good natural light and plenty of room to move about!
