About Richard Sully - Professional Wedding Pianist Richard Sully is a full-time professional pianist specialising in providing beautiful contemporary & timeless music for weddings & events both in the UK & abroad. Based in West Berkshire, he regularly covers most of the southern half of the UK & is fully self-contained with regard to portable piano & PA, including a beautiful Dutchgrand piano which is popular for weddings. Wedding clients include George & Amal Clooney in 2014. He also played for Elon Musk's 44th birthday party in 2016! Richard Sully has several wedding packages to help suit budget. He can cover your civil wedding ceremony, drinks reception and wedding breakfast as a full package. Should you want to have him play for less time you could, for instance, have him play for just your ceremony and drinks reception. He offers the hire of a beautiful Dutchgrand piano shell which looks stunning in a wedding setting and can be moved and set up in most buildings and outdoor spaces. It gets around the problem of having to hire a grand piano for events where aesthetics are important and brings down the overall cost of hiring a piano and pianist immensely. If the Dutchgrand piano isn't required then he will bring a standard Roland RD-800 digital stage piano and PA system as standard within the price. Still looks and sounds great! Wedding guests can choose their ceremony music from an enormous repertoire list. Richard keeps up to date with popular modern songs and is able to accommodate most wedding music requests old or new. Covering material from the likes of Elton John, Alicia Keys, Billy Joel, Coldplay, Keane etc, he also has a vast repertoire of material form the classic American Songbook era. He covers musicals, film themes, light jazz, ragtime, boogie woogie. He plays his entire repertoire by ear from memory and doesn't need to refer to sheet music - perfect for people making requests etc. Rich had had more than 35 years of experience as a full-time professional weddings and event pianist. He spent several years as resident pianist at London's Savoy Hotel, has played all over the world at venues, hotels and cruise ships.
