Located in southeast England in Dorking, Surrey, Ridge Farm offers a fantastic location to hold your wedding celebrations. Here, you can enjoy the beauty that the 16th-century farmhouse and its picturesque grounds have to offer. It also has a unique history of being one of the country's first residential recording studios, attracting famous artists such as Queen and Ozzy Osbourne.
Facilities and Capacity
At Ridge Farm, you can enjoy a weekend of exclusive use of the farmhouse, get-ready cottage, pool house, and grounds, providing a superb setting. This venue has a capacity of up to 150 guests, allowing you to invite all your friends and family for your special day. The Farmhouse is licensed for civil ceremonies.
The Farmhouse sleeps up to 25 people in 12 bedrooms, and there is a separate bridal cottage, which is all included in the venue's package. The site also provides a camping area with electricity and water, so you may invite extra guests to camp. The camping field is situated very close to the pool house, so campers have use of the pool's changing room, shower, and toilet facilities. Your weekend will also include exclusive use of the tennis court and pool house, which houses a heated swimming pool, jacuzzi, and sauna.

Accommodation
Ridge Farm’s hire is inclusive of the beautiful 16th century farmhouse with its very own boutique feel - all the comforts of a country hotel without feeling corporate. The house is self-catering, with all linen, towels and cleaning products provided. There are 12 bedrooms accommodating up to 25 guests, with your very own self-contained bridal cottage for two set within the grounds. We also provide a camping area with electricity and water so you may invite extra guests to camp. The camping field is situated very close to the Poolhouse so campers have use of the pool's changing room, shower and toilet facilities.

The Venue
The Poolhouse venue is situated with in the grounds. It comfortably accommodates up to 150 guests for the sit down reception. Banqueting furniture, drapes, lighting and porta-loos are inclusive with venue hire, and liaison & security staff are on site to look after your reception guests from arrival to departure. You'll need to supply your own alcohol, but we provide bar staff for the evening celebrations (we don't charge corkage). Also provided is a state of the art sound system for your DJ or band to utilise, with inputs for laptops and iPods. Bands may play till 11pm and DJ till 1am.

Civil Ceremonies
You can arrange for Surrey County Council to hold a Civil Ceremony for up-to 50 guests in the Farmhouse or up-to 150 guests in our outdoor woodland area.

Blessings
Many couples have held a blessing here within the grounds, in the presence of all their reception guests and led by a humanist celebrant. Popular sites are in the orchard or under the two great oak trees - or wherever the couple feels suits them. This is very personal to each couple and really sets a romantic tone to the wedding celebrations! You also have the option to hold a ceremony at one of the beautiful local churches.

Catering
Ridge Farm is a self catering venue: this gives clients the freedom to choose their own caterers and enables them to have control of banqueting style and budget. If you need advice in this area we are happy to help with recommendations etc. An added bonus is that we do not charge corkage.

Ridge Farm has a unique gift for catering for the individual, giving couples freedom of choice and enabling you to put a personal stamp on your wedding celebrations.
