About Riverhill Himalayan Gardens
A totally unique venue with stunning walled garden for your ceremony and arrival drinks (complete with fountains), secluded, pristine lawn for your marquee and fabulous gardens and views for your guests to enjoy. Dry hire only for a relaxed, informal, personal day.
Riverhill Gardens is a beautiful historic Gardens, dating back to the 1800's. We have the most amazing views across the Weald of Kent as well as over 12 acres of Gardens for your guests to enjoy.
At Riverhill we offer ground hire only so you get the perfect backdrop for your day whilst being able to build and create a very personal and unique set up. Every couple we have here puts their own unique stamp on Riverhill & we love to see what people do.
We are now taking bookings for ceremonies and receptions or receptions only (ceremonies from 2:30, reception arrivals from 3:00) for 2023 and beyond.
Say your vows in the romantic serenity of our stunning Walled Garden. You will exchange vows under the vaulted wooden roof of our Himalayan Hut, surrounded by climbing roses and vines. After your ceremony (or when you arrive with us if you are having just your reception here) enjoy drinks on the terraces of our beautiful Walled Garden. Your guests will be wowed by the central water feature with fountains and the carefully manicured terraces. With seasonal blooms and views across the Weald of Kent it is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the company of your guests.
Most of our couples stay in the Walled Garden for a couple of hours, sometimes choosing to take some time out in the rest of the Gardens with their photographer, before processing along the Rose Walk and down to the Old Tennis Court Lawn, where your marquee goes up. With far reaching views & perfect lawn it is large enough to fit a marquee for up to 250 guests on it. With room left over for games or seating.
We only take a small number of weddings each year at Riverhill to ensure that our lawn remains pristine and our couples feel special and important.
