Severndroog castle is a gothic-style tower, built in 1784 by Lady James. The castle was built as an expression of love to commemorate the achievements of Lady James’ late husband, Sir William James. With this romantic gesture as the foundation of the castle what better place to tie the knot. You don’t have to build a tower to celebrate your love but you can hire this romantic castle for your special day. The castle is situated on the summit of Shooters Hill and is surrounded by an enchanted woodland which provides a perfect backdrop for ceremonies and photos. Severndroog is the perfect venue for intimate ceremonies in a unique setting. Hire We won’t confuse you with packages just hire the castle at the hourly rate and use it as you wish. You can hire the entire building or just the upper floors and Viewing Platform. The Lady James Room is licensed for ceremonies and holds 26 seated or 36 standing guests. The Viewing Platform is licensed for ceremonies and holds 6 people, ideal for very intimate, small weddings, second weddings or renewing vows. From the viewing platform you can see panoramic views of London and you would get some amazing photographs and its a great experience for your guests to enjoy. Want to find out more?
