We are based in Leicester and offer a choice of three function suites and our stunning bar, we can hold civil ceremonies and Wedding Celebrations from the most intimate to the grandest affair. Each of our function suites has a licence for civil ceremonies and partnerships to take place.
Built in 1792 and boasting a Grade I listed status, The City Rooms is a venue steeped in Georgian history, which is apparent from your very first steps inside. High ceilings, vast windows and grand chandeliers provide the perfect backdrop for your special occasion, with a magnificent Ballroom spanning the entirety of the first floor.
Whether you are planning an intimate event or a more extravagant celebration, the City Rooms can offer the perfect space for you. With three rooms licensed to hold civil ceremonies and a grand Ballroom for up to 200 guests, you can spend your whole day in the fantastic venue.
