Welcome to The Godolphin Hotel and Restaurant, a dog-friendly, boutique hotel wedding venue in Penzance, Cornwall, renowned for its laid-back style and stunning beachfront location. Sitting in a pocket of paradise on Cornwall’s beautiful west coast, our lovingly restored Victorian hotel is in a spectacular spot looking out over Mounts Bay and the iconic St Michael's Mount. Guests can spend relaxing days sipping cocktails, dining at the restaurant Shutters, surfing, and exploring the wild Cornish coast as The Godolphin is situated directly on the South West Coastal path. Facilities and Capacity We offer weddings between September and April. You will have a choice of ceremony rooms, from a small intimate service on a balcony for 4 people to the main terrace overlooking the bay that could seat up to 50 guests for the ceremony and extend the guests for the evening celebrations up to 120 people. Your wedding package will include all boutique rooms for the night of your wedding. The Godolphin offers two restaurants where your guests can enjoy a delicious wedding breakfast. Shutters is the main dining area with breathtaking views across the bay, with floor-to-ceiling glass and a bar area with comfy sofas. We also offer Crabys which has an outside terrace to sip a glass of bubbles looking out over the bay, a separate inside bar and seating area, and room for dancing. We have 10 beautiful boutique bedrooms. There are two rooms with balconies overlooking Mounts Bay, a Suite with a separate lounge, and a double bed. There is a Family room with an adjoining room with bunk beds and two of the rooms can be made into Twin beds. Two of the bedrooms are on the ground floor with wheelchair access, and there is wheelchair access to the main restaurant. We offer three complete wedding packages, including the option to have full exclusive use of the hotel and restaurants during your special day.
