On The DayAs standard, the band are with you for the entire evening, typically arriving at 6.30pm in order to get setup as soon as the speeches are complete! Their high energy, foot stomping live sets total 2 hours and can be split however you want them. 2x1hrs, 3x40ms, 45m & 1hr15m, it’s completely up to you!To make sure that the party doesn’t stop when the band aren’t on stage, as standard the guys provide a FREE Disco service from their Virtual Decks with over 5000 songs to choose from. They can also take requests, do announcements and dedications, so in effect, there’s no need to hire a separate DJ, saving you a lot of money!AfternoonOnce you’ve decided to book the band for the evening, you also have the option of adding an afternoon acoustic set which is perfect for when your guests are arriving at the drinks reception and mingling with one another! You have a choice between an acoustic instrumental solo set (Guitarist) and an acoustic duo set, (Vocal, Guitarist), either of which are the perfect backdrop music to your drinks reception! The Long Weekend Duo The Long Weekend Duo is a chic and contemporary acoustic duo with an extensive repertoire of live lounge covers - the perfect way to add some style to your event.With stunning vocals from our lead vocalist Claire and beautiful acoustic guitar from Andrew, The Long Weekend Duo cover and extensive list of classics and modern day songs, focusing on providing the perfect intimate musical backdrop to any wedding reception. Our song choices focus on themes of love and happiness - keeping a feel-good theme throughout to provide the perfect romantic soundtrack for your big day.The Long Weekend Duo’s repertoire consists of modern and classic pop songs, with the focus firmly on romantic and feel good hits with beautiful arrangements of favourite tunes by artists from all eras, such as Ed Sheeran, Tina Turner, Nancy Sinatra, George Ezra, Elvis Presley, Eva Cassidy and many more! Our acoustic duo arrangements are perfectly suited to creating lovely backdrop. They are unobtrusive whilst celebrating the song, interesting enough to listen to attentively and equally perfect for sitting in the background whilst guests chat and enjoy a drink. They are designed to work perfectly for a wedding drinks reception. Acoustic Wedding Sets Our guitarist, Andrew, can offer a solo acoustic instrumental performance of favourite romantic and up-tempo songs. The inspiration comes from the traditional classical guitarist but focusing the repertoire on the contemporary hits and the classic songs that most clients have grown up with and enjoy listening to today. Song choices focus on themes of love and happiness - keeping a feel-good theme throughout.Andrew's repertoire consists of modern and classic pop songs played instrumentally with well-crafted arrangements using a loop pedal to build the songs up with layers. The focus is firmly on romantic and feel good hits with beautiful arrangements of favourite tunes by artists from all eras, from Ed Sheeran and George Ezra, to Eva Cassidy and Bill Withers and many more!Arrangements are perfectly suited to creating lovely backdrop.
