The Marlborough Arms, nestled in the heart of Woodstock, Oxfordshire, is a wedding venue with centuries of historical charm. This former coaching inn has been elegantly refurbished, maintaining the classic character of the building and its surroundings. Guests are welcome to relax in this tranquil yet centrally located property.
Who are we?
The Marlborough Arms has been a family-run hotel in the McEwen family for over 75 years. We love looking after our couples and guests and will go above and beyond to ensure you have the most marvellous time celebrating here. Tammy is always on the other end of an email, and our wonderful hotel manager, Alina, is here to welcome you for viewings and discuss your accommodation needs and things to do in the local area.
We've also teamed up with Karin Tindall Weddings, and it will be Karin and her team looking after you from the moment you book your wedding here so that your day is planned and executed with professionalism and charm.
Wedding Package
Our wedding package is based on 40 day guests and 60 evening guests. However, you can welcome up to 70 day and 120 evening guests.
The Package includes:
Venue hire of our gorgeous bar and dining area (this is exclusive use if all of our 15 bedrooms are booked)
Prosecco and canapés on arrival
Three-course wedding breakfast
1/2 bottle of wine per person
A glass of Prosecco for speeches
Evening snacks
Seven bedrooms, including the honeymoon suite, which is also included the night prior
Wedding coordination by Karin Tindall Weddings
Accommodation
We've got 15 beautiful, individually designed bedrooms, and they're all available to book for your wedding, subject to availability, with 7 of them already included in our wedding package.
Ceremony
You can opt for a civil ceremony at the nearby Woodstock Town Hall, with its traditional Cotswold facade and impressive oak doors, located less than a two-minute walk from the venue.
Ceremonies held here are booked directly with Oxfordshire County Council's registration service.
Alternatively, St Mary Magdalene Church is a three-minute walk away, perfect if you wish to have a church wedding instead.
