Facilities and Capacity Steeped in traditional charm, The Old Mill is an undeniably picturesque - set amongst 22 acres of lush countryside. On a site that dates back to 1086, this Grade II listed building exudes an old English character befitting the Royal County. Its original oak beams, stone bridges, and aged water wheel will only enhance your country-inspired theme, enthralling loved ones in the process. Licenced for ceremonies, the venue offers a choice of settings to tie the knot in splendour. Our newly refurbished Conservatory is encapsulated by views of the River Kennet, holding up to 94 people for your ceremony. Whilst our Outside Patio area also features views of the flowing river either side, accomodating 94 guests in the beauty of our outside surroundings. For more intimate ceremonies, The Stable Room is an ideal choice, hosting weddings of up to 70 guests. Immersed in panoramic river views, you and your loved ones can utilise The Old Mill exclusively for your celebrations. With a welcoming drinks reception on our Patio and an abundance of backdrop for photos, our countryside grounds are sure to provide you with a wedding day for you and your guests to remember! With access from 9:00am on the morning of your wedding, you are welcome to use our Bridal Dressing Room, complete with a complimentary bottle of Prosecco for your bridal party. Our bar and experienced bar team are available throughout the day to mix you up your favourite tipple. Whether it's a cocktail to accompany your dancing under the stars or a fruity gin to bask in the sunlight with, our bar (which overlooks the River Kennet and setting sunlight) is the perfect place for your guests to raise a toast or two! Services Offered Our team have a wealth of knowledge in weddings and events at The Old Mill and are always keen to hear about your visions and ideas as your venue search begins. Viewings are available with Lauren and Chris, our Wedding and Events Specialists, helping you to envisage your day at our riverside wedding venue. Aiming to keep your events as stress-free as possible, The Old Mill are also proud advocates for The Wed Shed; an onsite styling service. With access to a range of on-trend, stylish decor, your wedding day is certain to look specatular without the stress of setting it up yourself in the morning. Evie and her creative team of stylists are there to ensure you have an aisle walk of dreams, whilst enjoying your morning of pampering and bubbly with friends. Catering Food Options We are proud to be partnered with three catering companies: Foster's Catering, The Gentleman Smoker and The Little Kitchen Company. Allowing you to choose your catering team is something The Old Mill take pride in - giving you the opportunity to build your team of wedding suppliers, even down to the food! With access to a variety of options between them, each of the caterers have something fabulous to offer. From three-course seated dinners, to family sharing BBQs or stone-baked pizzas and loaded fries to welcome your evening reception; there is something for everyone!
