Facilities and Capacity
Couples hosting their day in this historic space have a range of event spaces to choose from. The Pumping House features two licensed ceremony rooms, a main hall for wedding breakfasts, overnight accommodation and a large lawn for outdoor drinks receptions. The beautiful red brick building, still featuring the original and distinctive chimney, is located on a six-acre site in the heart of Sherwood Forest. The tranquil surroundings provide the perfect backdrop for weddings and offer ample opportunity for unique photography.
The Ollerton Room has beautiful parquet flooring and is filled with natural light from the original paned windows, creating the perfect setting for wedding ceremonies. Licensed for civil ceremonies, it has seating for up to 100 guests. The Engine Hall is also licensed for civil ceremonies with between 80 and 150 guests. Following the ceremony, guests can enjoy drinks and canapes in The Conservatory Room. This versatile space is fitted with its own bar. Guests can also take full advantage of the outdoor bar and enjoy the beautiful views of the grounds. The Engine Hall provides an impressive setting for the wedding breakfast. The unique tiling, stunning arch windows, and high glass ceiling create an illuminating space that is perfect for weddings from 50 to 170 guests. The room can accommodate various layouts and can be used as a blank canvas for different theming and settings. On-site accommodation is available in the luxury apartments to the rear of the venue.
