About The Spread Eagle Hotel & Spa Set in the heart of the South Downs National Park, in the pretty market town of Midhurst, West Sussex, The Spread Eagle Hotel offers a truly unique and characterful venue. The Hotel offers a magnificent Jacobean Hall that can hold up to 80 guests for a wedding ceremony and wedding breakfast (and Reception for up to 100 guests). With it's own bar and doors that lead out on to the lawn, your guests can enjoy drinks outside when the weather permits. We also have our more intimate King Edward VII room that can take up to 30 guests for a wedding ceremony. Full of character and history, the Kind Edward VII room boasts stunning beams and an open fire that can be lit for a winter wedding. The Spread Eagle Hotel boasts 39 bedrooms (each individually decorated), a charming restaurant, historical lounge bar, open log fires, sun-drenched terrace with a bright conservatory and an award winning spa, with indoor swimming pool. The Hotel can also be taken on an Exclusive Use basis where you can enjoy being the only guests with the opportunity to style the hotel as you wish. We offer a delicious three course wedding menu, prepared by our Chef and his team, using the finest locally sourced ingredients....or perhaps you prefer a vintage afternoon tea wedding.
