Description

Nestled on the banks of the River Avon, Warwick Castle is a historic wedding venue situated in the heart of Warwickshire. This medieval fortress echoes with the stories of the Earls of Warwick, who hosted many lavish parties within the Castle walls. Surrounded by towers and ramparts, you are invited to make your own mark with a regal wedding celebration for the ages.

Facilities and Capacity
Warwick Castle is an enchanting and unique setting where you can embrace British history in all its splendour. This includes access to a private suite hidden within the castle walls and options for a knight on horseback to lead the procession to the venue. Civil ceremonies can take place within the fortress or outside amidst the 64 acres of wide-open spaces and stunning gardens. The Conservatory, originally built in 1786, features a beautiful terrace atop the Peacock Garden, ideal for post-ceremony drinks. For the wedding photographs, the East Front lawn offers majestic castle views at the foot of the 14th-century Guy's Tower. Meanwhile, the Central Courtyard is the venue's most inspiring setting, surrounded by turrets and ramparts. Inside, the opulent State Dining Room is distinguished by its centuries-old paintings and lavish chandelier. This ornate space is perfect for ceremonies of up to 95 or wedding breakfasts of up to 40 and can serve as a bar area for receptions in the Great Hall. The Great Hall banqueting hall is the most impressive, with a maximum capacity for 120 seated guests and 180 for a lively reception. Retiring to one of the venue's cosy lodges or brand new hotel.

Services Offered
Warwick Castle offers an array of exciting enhancements designed to embrace this fairytale setting. You can fly your flag from Guy's Tower, mingle with Birds of Prey during the drinks reception, and enjoy the soothing sounds of a string quartet in the background. The wedding team prides itself on crafting bespoke wedding packages that tick all the boxes for those who want something a little different. Their wedding brochure is filled with plenty of ideas to spark the imaginations. The flexible wedding menu allows you to choose from a formal dinner or medieval feast, with options for canapes, prosecco, and a three-course set menu. Booking your wedding here also includes venue hire until midnight (extendable), a master of ceremonies, and a fully-stocked bar.
