Hotel du Vin Birmingham is a historic wedding venue situated in the heart of Birmingham, England. The venue has incorporated all the building's original features, including a magnificent sweeping staircase and granite pillars, to create a retro aesthetic with modern comfort. Facilities and Capacity The largest space at Hotel Du Vin Birmingham is the Courtyard. With its grand botanical feel and fully retractable roof, it is perfect for all-season weddings and can accommodate up to 80 people. The Belle Epoque which is the second-largest private dining room seating up to 77 people, the space is majestic and elegant a mirrored hall with an abundance of natural daylight. Finally, Sassicaia also opens to the courtyard and boasts a number of unique features, such as wooden floorboards, an original fireplace. It seats 35 for a ceremond and 24 for a sit down meal is a stunning private dining room with direct access to the courtyard. It is ideal for intimate rehearsal dinners or small private wedding breakfasts. The White Lion Pub We are unable to accommodate loud musical entertainment in any of our private rooms as there are bedrooms directly above them. However, you may hire The White Lion Pub which is located on the lower ground floor of the hotel and holds up to 90 guests. Located within the Pub (Annexe) is The Snug which boasts a snooker table and Foosball table. Both spaces are available to hire exclusively until midnight - room hire or guaranteed spends behind the bar will be applicable. Suitable for standing buffets with occasioanl seating. For music, you may organise a DJ with their own equipment, alternatively, you may organise back ground music using the hotel’s pa system. Services Offered To help you plan your big day in every detail, the venue will allocate you your very own wedding organiser. Their job? To understand and bring your ideas to life, make suggestions, and then tie it all together. This includes everything from arranging consultations with florists and hair stylists to designing the perfect menu and dressing the room. A number of packages are also available, from the Classic Occasion, with a three-course menu, to the Prestige Package. This latter option includes a four-course dinner with Perrier-Jouet Champagne, lobster and game. All come with a welcome drink, a half bottle of wine, a glass of fizz for the toast, and tea and coffee. The hotel also offers each newly married couple a free night's stay in the most luxurious suite.
